NOW HIRING - PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Kinco Constructors in Springdale, Arkansas, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the preconstruction phase of projects ranging from $1 million to $75 million, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are planned and executed effectively, efficiently, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of construction processes and practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning

  • Lead the preconstruction process, including feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope and objectives

Cost Estimation

  • Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met.

  • Facilitate communication among project teams to promote collaboration and efficiency.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure all preconstruction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Client Interaction

  • Act as clients' primary point of contact during the preconstruction phase.

  • Present project plans and budgets to clients, addressing concerns and managing expectations.

Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of preconstruction activities, including reports, estimates, and minutes.

  • Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on projects ranging from $1 to $75 million.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.

  • Commercial construction experience in a broad range of commercial construction market sectors, including education and healthcare.

  • Proficiency in project management software and cost estimation tools.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
