NOW HIRING - PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Kinco Constructors in Springdale, Arkansas, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the preconstruction phase of projects ranging from $1 million to $75 million, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are planned and executed effectively, efficiently, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of construction processes and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning
Lead the preconstruction process, including feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
Cost Estimation
Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
Team Coordination
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Facilitate communication among project teams to promote collaboration and efficiency.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all preconstruction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Client Interaction
Act as clients' primary point of contact during the preconstruction phase.
Present project plans and budgets to clients, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
Documentation
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of preconstruction activities, including reports, estimates, and minutes.
Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on projects ranging from $1 to $75 million.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
Commercial construction experience in a broad range of commercial construction market sectors, including education and healthcare.
Proficiency in project management software and cost estimation tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
