PROJECT FACTS

The 17,000-square-foot Petit Jean State Park Visitor Center includes a gift shop, an exhibit gallery, and a multipurpose room with 2,000 square feet of open space. The center also has offices for the park staff.

A large fireplace between the east and west wings has rock features. The exterior of the building includes beautiful stonework and a painted cement siding board with a metal roof. A new wooden bridge was built to connect the adjacent park areas to the new visitor center, and numerous new sidewalks leading to the campground area along Lake Bailey.
